Bri Lee

Bri Lee is a Brisbane-based freelancer and the Founding Editor of Hot Chicks with Big Brains. Specialising as a writer, she is also an editor, photographer, and videographer. Bri is experienced in panel facilitation, interviewing, radio appearances, and public speaking generally. Hot Chicks with Big Brains is an inclusive feminist magazine and community.

Bri is represented by Curtis Brown. Her first book, a work of narrative non-fiction called Eggshell Skull, will be published by Allen & Unwin in 2018. It explores sexism in the legal industry and justice system. After graduating from the University of Queensland with a LLB (Hons) and Arts (Mandarin) degree in 2014, she was admitted to the legal profession early in 2017.

Bri was the inaugural recipient of the Kat Muscat Fellowship in 2016 and is currently one of the 2017 Griffith Review Fellows.
